One entrance exam for Engineering in IIT,NIT,IIIT and state engineering colleges

                     There is a good news for  students who have dream to become a enginner in IIT, IIIT, NIT or any other engineering college.

       HRDC department has announced that from now only one entrance exam  will be conduct for admission in Engineering institutes like IIT,IIIT, NIT and others state engineering colleges.This entrance exam will called Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) and It has replace the IIT-JEE and AIEEE Exam.

There is a  Joint Entrance Board(JEB) which has the resposiblity to prepared the question paper and
conduct the entrance exam from 2013 onwards.

There is two paper in JEE exam 
1.  Main Paper
2.  Advance Paper

Both paper will have the  Objective type questions.

IIT prepared the merit list by 60 % (weightage)  of  marks in entrance exam papers i.e. 30 % weightage  for each paper  and 40 % (weightage)  marks in senioer secondery(12th class) exam and call the five times of candidate in respect of total seats in IITs.
Others State will followed this Entrance exam with their suitablity to make the merit list for admission in their engineering colleges in states.
