Important Information

1. The result of RET and all information regarding admission shall be displayed on the notice board and
Vishwavidyalaya website. The selected candidates will be informed by registered post. However,
Vishwavidyalaya will not be responsible for any postal delay. Hence, the candidates are advised to be in
touch with the concerned department.
2. RET is only the eligibility test for Ph.D. courses. The eligibility of the candidates will be valid for current
acadmic session only. The candidates who have qualified the RET will be called for interview to discuss
their research area before the departmental committee consisting all the permanent faculty members of
the department (including those from Kanya Gurukula Campus, Haridwar/Dehradun) chaired by Head of
the concerned department.
3. Final selection of the candidate shall be made on the basis of discussion about research area of his
interest and interview. The seat shall remain vacant in the concerned subject, if any candidate is not
found suitable even after the above process.
