Kumaun University,Nainital is conducting SET exam for Uttarakhand State for the year 2011-12.U set (Uttarakhand state eligibility Test) exam date has been change from 15 July 2012 to 29 July 2012 due to Kawad Mela.
Kumaun University has told that there is 25000 form of USET was given to POST Offices.In which 22000 form has been sold and out of it 16400 form are reached to university. U-Set exam will be held on the following centres.

If any candidate will not get the admit card they will get the admit card from the examination centres by given 2 photo and Rs. 50. Examination centres detail will published on the website before 7 days of exam.Details are below for how many students apply for which subjects.

राज्य में पहली बार कुमाऊं विवि के तत्वावधान में हो रही उत्तराखंड राज्य पात्रता परीक्षा (यू-सेट) की तिथि बदल दी गई है। अब यह परीक्षा 15 जुलाई की जगह 29 जुलाई को कुमाऊं-गढ़वाल के आधा दर्जन परीक्षा केंद्रों पर होगी। कांवड़ यात्रा व अन्य वजहों से परीक्षा तिथि में बदलाव का निर्णय लिया गया। शुक्रवार को विवि प्रशासनिक भवन में स्टेयरिंग कमेटी चेयरमैन और कुलपति प्रो. वीपीएस अरोड़ा की अध्यक्षता में बैठक हुई। इसके बाद कुलपति प्रो. अरोड़ा ने बताया कि डाक विभाग को यूसेट के 25 हजार आवेदन फार्म उपलब्ध कराए गए थे। इसमें से 22 हजार फार्मो की बिक्री हुई। जिसमें 16 हजार 400 आवेदन विवि को अंतिम तिथि तक प्राप्त हुए। इसमें करीब 200 अभ्यर्थियों ने ओएमआर सीट समेत फोटो त्रुटियां कर रखी थी, जिनके आवेदन निरस्त कर दिए गए हैं। परीक्षा 29 जुलाई को रुड़की, देहरादून, श्रीनगर, नैनीताल, अल्मोड़ा और पंतनगर केंद्रों पर कराई जाएगी। इसकी जानकारी एक सप्ताह पूर्व विवि की वेबसाइट पर डाल दी जाएगी। जिन अभ्यर्थियों को किसी कारणवश प्रवेश पत्र नहीं मिल सकेंगे। वह परीक्षा केंद्रों से एक दिन पूर्व तक दो फोटो और 50 रुपये जमाकर प्रवेश पत्र ले सकेंगे। परीक्षा में शिक्षा शास्त्र विषय से सर्वाधिक 2211 व लोक प्रशासन में सबसे कम 17 अभ्यर्थियों ने आवेदन किया है। इतिहास में 1519, हिन्दी में 1303, अंग्रेजी में 860, संस्कृत में 650, भूगोल में 645, अर्थशास्त्र में 438, गणित में 835, वाणिज्य में 686, कम्प्यूटर साइंस में 671 अभ्यर्थियों आवेदन किया है।
